Jessica Rose's video: Full Face of First Impressions Testing New Drugstore Makeup

I purchased a bunch of new drugstore makeup and test everything out for the first time. Some of these items are amazing, and some… not so much ;p If you like this video, please LIKE it And Subscribe! Let’s be friends » INSTAGRAM → http://instagram.com/jessicarose_lifestyle Products: -Clinique superprimer colour corrects redness -Covergirl vitalist healthy elixir foundation buff beige 725 (slightly too neutral/pink for my yellow skintone but it works) -Sephora make no mistake foundation & concealer stick 04 Oak (way too light for my sunless tan, will work great when I am my normal skintone) -Wet n wild photofocus concealer 840B light ivory – Love, but not light enough to be the lightest shade. Very creamy and pigmented. Great for dry under eyes but make sure you set it because it creased on me slightly. -Milani contour highlight cream & liquid duo – 02 light/natural – this is ok. I’m not a huge cream contour/highlight girl so I don’t grab for it often but the color was a nice cool tone contour and the highlight set nicely. Instead of buffing, I need to try patting the contour in to blend because it wiped away my foundation. -Hourglass ambient lighting powder – diffused light (my everyday under eye setting powder) -It celebration foundation illumination full coverage anti-aging hydrating powder – medium -Physicians formula butter bronzer – bronzer -Maybelline master chrome metallic highlighter 100 molten gold – LOVE. So buttery and pigmented. -Artnaturals make-up setting spray pure and natural long lasting matte finish – LOVE THIS STUFF!!! I have been using it every day since I tried it. I love it to prime the skin before makeup and to set everything when done. I don’t think it gives a matte finish at all, but for an overall great multipurpose spray, this is bomb. http://amzn.to/2vSrOhU -Milani stay put waterproof eyeliner pencil 03 hooked on espresso -L’oreal voluminous lash paradise – blackest black. Too dry of a formula for me. If you have the time to build it up with multiple coats, it looks great but that takes too long for me compared to my wet formula mascaras (marc Jacobs velvet noir and chanel le volume de chanel). -Wet n wild ultimatebrow mascara blonder over yonder – LOVE. I have been using this every day since. It has great pigmentation and holds my brows in place all day long. This is very comparable to the NYX tinted brow mascara in blonde. Both are cool toned/taupe(which is hard to find at the drugstore) except the NYX isn’t as dark. -NYX lipliner pencil 852 pumpkin -Maybelline super stay matte ink liquid lipstick lipcolor -25 Heronie. Not the biggest fan of this formula. It’s comfortable if you apply one coat but you don’t get the pigmentation like other liquid lipstick. It is sticky after it sets (which is nice if you don’t like drying formulas) but it gave the middle ring effect on the inside of my lips and did not wear away nicely. I would say it’s more of a combination between a lipstick and stain. If you apply a little bit and blot it would be a nice stain but that defeats the purpose of a long lasting liquid lipstick.
