JetFlix's video: Boeing 720 Safety Briefing

Who would have thought that we were able to see a Boeing 720 flight safety briefing in the year 2023. Well, this was actually recorded back in February 2007, when the JetFlix TV team visited the Honeywell Boeing 720 flight operation based out of Phoenix sky Harbor Airport, prior to our flying on the Boeing 720 on several occasions. I decided to film one of the safety briefings for historical reference. Here we have Honeywell Flight Engineer Ian Bell, walking myself and Tony Hickey through the aircraft showing us the various emergency safety features, should they be necessary during a flight. The Boeing 720 was a creation of the early 1960s and it was basically a light version of the Boeing 707 used for domestic US operations of the day, whereas the Boeing 707 was used for intercontinental operations. Boeing made the fuselage a bit smaller on the 720 and reduce the operating weight, and it made it somewhat of a hot rod. Honeywell retired the aircraft soon after our visit with them in 2007, and today there are no Boeing 720s operational on the planet.
