Jim McKenzie's video: 2 Hour Clay Sketch - Jim McKenzie Character Sculpting Time-lapse

No references, just off-the-cuff sketching. I actually thought this character was going to be a man at first but it wound up becoming a woman 20 minutes into sculpting. NOTE- Sculpey is a wonderful brand and great for sketches like this but I don’t actually use Sculpey or polymer clays for my finished gallery sculptures. I primarily use Apoxie Clay, or Magic Sculpt for big solid pieces that need to withstand the test of time. There are pros and cons to all clays, so the best way to find out which one works best for you is to try them all out for yourself.
