In 1908 a column of blue light, as bright as the Sun, hurtled towards Earth and landed in the Eastern Siberia Taiga, of modern day Russia. The Tunguska Event caused devastation on a massive scale, flattening the land surrounding land by demolishing trees and killing any animal that happened to be in its path. To this day conclusive evidence is yet to be found that will confirm what caused the largest explosion in recorded history. This objective of this video will be to analyse how those that witnessed the event interpreted it, the process of the investigation and the number of theories that resulted from the lack of evidence to confirm what this earth-shaking event really was.
