Jmic's video: Jmic on the QFO Yeeeeeee boyyeeee

I'm finally able to fit this bad boy on my desk once again due to some key re-arrangements. Some answers to FAQ: How long have you been scratching? On and off for 10 years. I was only serious for 3 of those years, I'd say. I've grown soooo much more musically since then, so I feel like I can finally introduce new rhythms and style to my scratch repertoire. Are there any instruments you don't play? YES. There are plenty! I've never tried the oboe, the bassoon, the kalimba, and countless other world instruments. I have played wind instruments, but I really suck at them. I own a cornet and an alto sax, but I never get around to practicing them. :( What the heck is a QFO? It's an instrument that's a hybrid of a turntable and a mixer. It's main purpose is for scratching. You can't really DJ clubs and weddings with this bugger. What record and needle are you using? I'm using the Super Seal skipless record. The cartridge is a Ortofon DJ Qbert signature. You're missing a shoe. Yep. It fell off and is on the floor right next to the door.
