Jo Ellen Litz's video: Bob Dowd DES asks for approval on change orders for the 911 Center 5 4 2023

Lebanon PA, May 4, 2023: DES Director Bob Dowd reported that switch gear was still not received for the new 911 center. This is an industry-wide problem. Commissioners approved Change Orders for DES, and a ZITO co-location Communication Lease that will provide 4 dark fiber lines to DES. The response teams should move to the new Center in July and August. Due to a complicated move, the 911 Center will be last, approximately November. Included in the Change Orders is a radio tower and shelter using ARPA dollars Another order was for blasting of rock for UGI when they had to approach the building from a different side. The final change order was for water lines and downspouts.
