Jo-Ma's video: Cebu Travel Vlog WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE Crown Regency Hotel Towers Cebu breakfast buffet

Hey my loves, sharing with you another Cebu travel vlog, this one is part 4. We stayed in Cebu for 3 nights, spent a night at kuya Mick’s house and then we went ahead and booked two nights at Crown Regency Hotel & Towers. I had high expectations from this hotel, thought it was worth the splurge since online they claim to be a 4 star hotel in Cebu Philippines. It was attraction at first sight for me, saw the fancy hotel light display outside and was keen to enjoy scenic views of Cebu city. Therefore, I decided to go ahead and book two nights in this hotel without reading any hotel reviews online. It was basically a HUGE regret choosing to stay in this hotel, the hotel staff has made countless errors, starting from denying us breakfast~~ I was told upon check in that breakfast isn’t included. In the morning I had to dig deep on my emails to prove I’ve paid for it. It was on my booking confirmation email!! The staff should have read and seen this to begin with, there was no need to embarrass and deny me. Also I booked my stay in this hotel for 3 people. Ofcourse my bro had to asked for duvet, pillows and sheets which he did not get on our first night. Hence, my bro had to sleep uncomfortably without pillows and duvet. I had to strip my bed of bedsheets just so I can give him a blanket. Yes I slept on my bed without a bed sheet. This may sound like I am such a high maintenance kinda lady but if you are paying a lot of money to stay in a 4 star hotel then you should get the best possible customer service and facilities that you would usually expect from a 4 star hotel in Philippines. The bathroom did not have hot water which was unheard of from any 4 star hotel I have ever stayed at. Even a 3 star hotel has hot water!! Fair enough if I was staying at a hostel then I would expect so much less knowing I only paid cheap for a bed. By the way Kabayan hotel costed only £11 for a bed and even their shower room has hot water!! I was utterly disappointed and disgusted by the Crown Regency Hotel & Towers. I have complaint several times, too many to mention. Yes they have tried and rectified their mistakes but they have already wasted a day before rectifying these mistakes. Personally, I felt like the staff are on auto pilot, they did not seem to really understand the true value of customer service. It was disgusting!! Worst the bathrooms are all outdated for a 4 star hotel. I’ve heard that hostels have better bathrooms than this Crown Regency Hotel & Towers. There’s rusts growing on the metal hardwares in the bathroom. Some floor numbers on the lifts (elevator) have been rubbed off that you need to make sure you are pressing the right number so you can go to the right floor. One of the restaurants we dined at smell of wee (piss). I saw cockroaches having a little stroll at the balcony of the restaurant. One of my bro was scared to death haha (won’t say which one) OMG my experience here was awful, even worst because we paid to stay in a 4 star hotel, expecting the high level of service and facility that it should have come with. I have never been this unhappy in any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It took a lot for me to share this negative review with you guys. I just want to be honest and transparent with you with regards to my experience of this hotel. I hate recommending products and places that are awful. Therefore, I would advise against staying in this hotel, save your money and stay else where~~ unless you want to pay premiums to enjoy the city views. On the bright side, we did not let this horrid hotel ruin our holiday. Throw sticks and stones at me, I would probably go a little bit mad but I wouldnt let this bring my spirit down. We also went to house of lechon. My bros and Kuya Micks love love love their lechon (pork)!! I had seafood soup which was delicious. If you are planning to go Cebu then I would highly recommend for you to try dishes that are well known in this city and Lechon is definitely one of the best dishes Cebu is well known for.
