Joan Cheri Art's video: Grace Jones 3D Oil Painting

This oil painting was inspired by Jamaican-American supermodel, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress Grace Jones. Last month I was asked to showcase at the @Trapxart show DTLA, and create something that correlated with the theme "Big Ol' Freak" I wanted to keep it classy and authentic to my 3D oil painting aesthetic, so I decided to recreate this infamous Grace Jones image! I finalized my idea just 3 days before the show, and stayed up 24 hrs the day before to complete it. Unfortunately because I rushed to meet the deadline, I forgot to set up my camera and record my creative process. However, thankfully I was able to compile some photos I took along the way.
