JoanJetsetter's video: Huahine Is Tahiti s Hidden Gem

Huahine is one of Polynesia’s best-kept secrets. Set in a gorgeous lagoon, Huahine is dotted with several mountain peaks in which the highest, Mount Turi, reaches some 2,200 feet high. Formally home to Polynesian royalty, Huahine has the highest concentration of pre-European marae (sacred meeting places) in all of Polynesia. I had the pleasure of visiting the island with superswell VR and Samsung to film a series of 360-degree videos. And, this week, I was feeling nostalgic for it’s warm waters, hiking, snorkeling and ancient religious sites. This video only goes to show how much fun there is to be hand on this hidden isle.
