JoanJetsetter's video: 7 Things to do in Los Cabos

@7 Things to do in Los Cabos
Los Cabos has a ton of new experiential hotels and activities that will appeal to a range of personality types. Here are my top 7 things to see and do in Los Cabos. Take a Cooking Class at Los Tamarindos Los Tamarindos is a 17-acre organic farm and restaurant tucked away in San José del Cabo. Get your hands dirty and take a four-hour cooking class here, which starts in the garden and ends at the dinner table. It includes a lesson in local delicacies and delicious, hand-crafted cocktails—because cooking is always easier with booze. Attend the Art Walk in San José Del Cabo Each Thursday night, San José Del Cabo plies art and design lovers with tequila and light bites as they interact with artists and gallery owners. Unlike a lot of art walks, the art here is actually pretty good, ranging from highly conceptual to just plain fun. The weekly event is free to all and one of the best nights out in San José. Hit the Floating Margarita Bar at Chileno Bay It’s five o’clock somewhere and that somewhere is the brand-new Chileno Bay Resort & Residences. When you hear the bell clanging, that means the floating margarita bar is open for business. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the signature margarita made with silver tequila and black lava salt. Swim With Whale Sharks in La Paz Whale sharks gather in the Sea of Cortez from August to May in order to gorge on plankton and enjoy the warm waters of Baja California Sur. Cabo Adventures operates a full-day tour that brings guests from Los Cabos to La Paz, Mexico, so that they can swim alongside these gentle giants. Visit El Mercado El Mercado is a new, under-the-radar food hall in San Jose Del Cabo serving local treats and eats. Stop by for a bite on your way to the airport, since it will most likely be on your way. Stay at Hotel El Ganzo Hotel El Ganzo is probably the funkiest hotel in all of Los Cabos. Each month, artists and musicians come for a residency where they either leave their mark with a piece of art or record a song in the hotel’s subterranean studio. The hotel also lends out bikes so that guests can take a scenic ride along the marina, which is also lined with artwork and sculptures. Get Dinner at Sunset Mona Lisa There is no better place to watch the sunset in Los Cabos than Sunset Mona Lisa, an Italian restaurant carved into the cliffs of Cabo San Lucas. It’s one of few places where you can see both the sunset and the region’s famous rock formation, El Arco. This ultra-romantic, terraced restaurant is the perfect place to bring that special someone and take in the beauty of Baja California Sur. ___ If you value experiences over consumerism, if you think there's more to life than the 9-5, if you want to travel to every country in the world before you die, subscribe to my channel, and let’s see where we end up next: http://ow.ly/Vx3Xs Snapchat: JoanJetsetter Blog: http://www.joanjetsetter.com/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/JoanJetsetter Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/JoanJetsetter/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/JoanJetsetter Vine: https://vine.co/JoanJetsetter Tumblr: http://joanjetsetter.tumblr.com/ Executive Producer: Skye Mayring Editor: Gerardo Jaquez Lechuga My trip to Los Cabos was made possible by the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
