Jodie H's video: ETI Convetion 2010: Jodie and Life in Technicolor You gave me something I could hold on to

Okay, so convention was awesome!! Karteia [aka Life in Technicolor] was an angel! I love this horse sooo much! Considering we only had like 3 weeks of riding before the show, we did pretty darn well! Overall we got 6th in Hunter Hack, 6th in Working Hunters, 2nd in Equitation over Fences, and a 1st in Hunt Seat Equitation. :D I'm so proud of him! This horse seriously SOARS over the fences. It's so smooth and easy to ride. :D The things we got marked down on were minor blimps that required time to fine tune. Time that we ultimately didn't have :P You can probably spot them, for instance we don't have flying changes down, he likes to swap leads and cross-canter, etc. I don't really care about that right now, I'm just proud that he only rufused one fence, which was partially my fault anyways. That's amazing considering this was only his 3rd show EVER! So I haven't been able to ride him since this show, BUT Penny said I can take him to the four IEL shows this year! I'm SO excited! YES! I finally made a proper video!! I'm very pleased with the result. :D So anyways, if you listen to the lyrics of the first song, it describes a lot of what's going on right now. After Polo got hurt, I thought I'd never compete again because I didn't really have access to any horses. But now I have plenty and I'm back in the show ring and just AH! It's exciting. Good things come to people who are patient and open-minded. :) ‎I'm so glad I've had the opportunity to work with Karteia. I adore this big guy. I know I'll never forget him. However, his back is a bit sore so the chiropractor is coming out on Friday. If that fixes the problem, then I can start to canter him on the lunge and geton his back again! YAY! And more news: my friend might be bringing her horse to my barn so I an train him and maybe show him too! The Icelandics are doing well, Jay is gaining weight which is good because he was a bit skinny, and Adolvo has been letting me ride his gorgeousss paint stallion. Ahh yess things are looking up. :D Oh, and Cobra Starship is THE most amazing band ever :DDD -Jodie
