Joe Mestas's video: Making Italian Sausage with Donnie and Carol

There is an art to making Italian Sausage and my brother Donnie and sister-in-law Carol have mastered it. It has been a family tradition for them for about 50 years. Our oldest brother Donnie and sister-in-law Carol has made Italian sausage a few times every year, well for about 50 years. It was a tradition with our Sicilian grandparents, then Donnie and Carol continued the tradition with their children. This week, their two daughters in Colorado and son in Maryland are continuing the tradition with their families. My sister, Sandra, brother-in-law Al, and I enjoyed the camaraderie together with Donnie and Carol and look forward to doing it again next year.
