Joe Perkins's video: Hagerman Tube PREAMP - Vintage Saturation Galore

Always one for cooking up new ideas, Jim Hagerman has released some new tube pedals - and this one is super-useful as both a vibey studio tool and for enhancing your live gigging sound. The PREAMP adds warmth, colour, realism and light gain to anything you choose to patch through it by utilising a 12AU7 tube to impart some vintage vibes. Designed to be always-on - so much so you don't get a footswitch - it was primarily conceived for use with acoustic guitars packing Piezo pickups (today, I have a no-expense-spent $8 Amazon one, so the PREAMP really has its work cut out!). But it also works brilliantly on anything else you might choose to patch through it - and even front-of-amp for use with electric guitars.
