Joe Perkins's video: Marshall 2061 Lead Bass 20W Clone My Best eBay Bargain Yet

@Marshall 2061 Lead & Bass 20W Clone...My Best eBay Bargain Yet?!?
As you might have seen, I've ended up with something of a penchant for hoovering up other people's kit amps on eBay...and yes, I've done it again. But this time, I think I managed to score the bargain of the century. This is a handwired clone of the Marshall 2061 Lead & Bass 20 circuit - an amp that I hadn't actually ever heard of until recently. It has two sides to it...the Bass side is pretty warm and tame, but can be cool for some things. But the Lead side is an absolute screaming monster...giving you the 1959SLP tone at slightly more manageable decibels. Plus, you can jump the two channels together - giving you the snarl of the Lead, but with some added thickness and grunt from the Bass. Cool, eh? What do you think? £104 well spent? Or should I have bought something else? Comment below! Amp is a Marshall 2061 Clone clone running into a Zilla Studio Pro 2x12 cabinet loaded with Scumback S75-PVC AlNiCo and Celestion AlNiCo Gold speakers. Recorded with Aston Spirit Condenser, '70s Sennheiser MD441 and sE RNR1 ribbon mics, with a Schoeps CMC6 room mic. 0:00 Intro Playing 1:02 Intro 6:48 Playing 11:31 Channels Jumped 12:44 Outro www.facebook.com/joeperkinsmusic jp@joeperkins.co.uk Vector images by freepik.com
