Parcel deliveries were once a major asset to British Rails income, but since the 1960s it has been just a memory. This video sums up the processes which took place between unloading off the train to delivering straight to your doorstep, using BR's brilliant 'mechanical horse' lorries, which were extremely manouverable and could turn all 16ft of lorry 360° within a 20ft turning circle! Featuring my Lego railway, and a variety of British style trains and vehicles. No string was used in the making of this film! Music from 'Let's Go To Birmingham' British Transport Film
