Joff Summerfield's video: Ai Video Enhancment VR180 Brooklands 500

The original can be found here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqClPz6ajNo&t=3s and I claim no copyright to both the original or my enhanced version. Starting off I used Neat image 5 to clean up the footage, relying heavily on its dust and scratches module. In hindsight, I used far too strong a setting as I have "cleaned" to heavily some of the cars especially when far away on the banking. You can see this as the cars disappear then reappear on the banking, and of course the loss of detail. The colorization I tried various different options, including Deoldify and Deepremaster, but neither of these methods proved satisfactory. In the end, I colored keyframes in photoshop and used the style transfer software Ebsynth. This takes way longer, but the final output is so much better. At this stage, I thought I would make my life more difficult and turn the footage into 3D Anaglyph and VR to view on an Oculus Go/Quest, etc. For this, I used 3DCombine, ( https://www.youtube.com/user/RScullion ) which entails making depth map keyframes. Their YouTube channel has instruction videos for this purpose. You are very much reliant on how detailed you make your depth maps, and how often you place them. I took a mid-ground on this, and as you can see some scenes work and others don't. The two other versions are linked at the top. I then used the Dain App to convert to 60fps, and finally Topazlabs Video Enhance Ai https://topazlabs.com/video-enhance-ai/ to convert to 4k. Hope you enjoy! Joff
