from: john c ashworth, aka the fitness nomad http://johnashworth.co/thefitnessnomad Dear fitness enthusiast & fellow bohemian athlete, You might consider all this work I'm doing here your pandemic rescue fitness program... We're 7 months into this pandemic and the reality of that is starting to weigh on us. You can see and feel this everywhere and in your own personal ways. I know I can. I spent the first 20+ years of my career as a personal trainer, clinical exercise physiologist, fitness coach, health coach, and soccer coach before I decided to take a nice long sabbatical starting in 2014. I honestly thought that beyond my own pursuit of health and fitness, and the guidance I could provide my kids and my wife, that I would not have much interest in finding my way back into this mission. I was done with any real focus on fitness. I was also wrong. In subtle ways throughout these past 5 years, the universe kept hinting at me from time to time about a set of gifts, talents and passions that I now realize are a part of me forever. They go deep into my soul. Still, for many years, for the most part, I ignored those hints and remained focused on my other passions for sales and marketing and spent a lot of really great time as a car salesman in Madison, WI. I learned so much from that experience. Both as a salesperson. Well, especially as a salesperson, but even more important to me were the relationships I had the opportunity to develop with customers. What a terrific way to make a living. Today, I work full time as a salesman and account executive for a very fast growing technology company known as Frazer Consultants. This is also very exciting. Hence my limited and only exclusive availability for private coaching in the evenings and on weekends. I am grateful for everything I have in my life and everything that I have been able to achieve. I won't go into that here except to say that as we all press on during the pandemic I wanted you to know that I feel you. I feel your presence and your energy and your connection. Our common struggle. Once I connected with that idea fully, I realized that no matter what, I need to keep sharing my gifts, my insights, and my passions for health and fitness with you. And so here we are. And if you've read this far, I want you to know how grateful I am for your presence here. Seven months into the pandemic, I feel more passionate and convinced of the life-altering benefits of regular exercise, and its ability to heal you from the inside out than ever. This has drawn me back to it like a magnet, or a beacon or anything else out there in the world that you might use as a guidepost for your own pursuit of all that is good in your life. I'm producing fitness videos again. I'm exercising quite regularly and it's made all the difference during the pandemic. I've helped my family do the same. I'm seeing online personal training clients on a very exclusive basis, and it's not only been extremely fun, but a very rewarding and beneficial experience for all of us during a time when we can't come together in-person. And finally, I'm producing online courses where you can benefit from my online personal training programs without having to work with me live person to person. I plan to launch the first one very soon... Thanks for being here. There's so much more... Peace be with you. -john c ashworth http://johnashworth.co/thefitnessnomad
