Sepphoris was a Jewish city located only about 4-5 miles from Nazareth, Jesus’ home town. Archaeologically, the site is known for its stones. We’ll walk on large pavement stones as well as see beautiful mosaics made of 1000s of small stones. We’ll even see the “Mona Lisa of the Galilee” mosaic.
