John Donovan de Vries's video: Sigma 150-600mm Unboxing

Unboxing the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary. Finally took the plunge and got a Sigma Telephoto lens, the 160-600. In this video we do a quick unboxing and then a little field test in a reserve taking photos of some of the local birds. So far I am quite impressed with the lens and the quality Moving up from a 75-300mm canon lens, only after looking at some of the pictures one can see how much chromatic aberration the 75-300mm canon lens had. The crispness and over quality of the Sigma lens is leagues ahead. But you also have to consider the price, the Canon 75-300mm is much cheaper than a Sigma 150-600, I am still glad I had the 75-300 canon as it gave me a lot practice, now I have to get used to a little more, like the weight and the focus distance switch. But if you like taking wildlife, sports and even airshows, you definitely can't go wrong with a Sigma 150-600.
