I checked the expiry date on my October 18 order - it expires at the end of August 2019, so no concerns. Fortiflora by Purina has helped my senior dog (15 yrs) with digestive issues that have developed as she ages. I sprinkle it on her dinner meal and she doesnt mind the taste at all. It also helps to regulate her bowel movements. I just wish Purina had a mixed formula of both pre and probiotics. Although my vet has suggested using Fortiflora on a regular basis she sometimes needs a RX formula containing both. Our Dane/Mastiff pup has had issues with loose bowels since we got him, and just seems to have a generally very sensitive stomach. This probiotic has worked magic for his bowels and he even likes his food more when it’s added! This product was recommended by my dog’s vet following an intestinal tear. I have continued to use it beyond the specified period and use a packet daily. I have found that the dogs stool is always uniform and practically scent-free. The dog also has at least 2 bowel movements daily now. I recommend this product. My dog was given this probiotic at the vet when he was ill with stomach inflammation. I kept him on this probiotic daily to promote a healthy gut flora. I have tried less expensive brands, but they dont work as well. My dog has a healthy looking stool when taking this! I highly recommend it. Always so happy with this company and this product. The dates are never even close to expiry as Ive read in some other company products. It always arrives quickly and undamaged. As for the product, I started using it when my golden retriever was on extended anti-biotics for an injury to his paw. It has been wonderful, his stomach used to be so sensitive but hes been pretty normal lately, and his bowel movements are consistently better, (sorry to talk about poop. I can just tell using this everyday is helping him - and he has no issues with the flavour. We split the package in half, breakfast and dinner. I really recommend this product, I originally was told by my vet to use it and then started buying it here as a little cheaper.
