Advanced Disposal Landfill (ADLF) in Holt, AKA Mt. Trashkauloosa has been an absolute nuisance for our community for years. While ADEM, Alabama Dep of Environmental Management has issued a few notices of violation out there it has never been enough nor has it curbed the noncompliance issues we face daily and have since ADLF bought the landfill. The operators "claim" they are unaware of the issue of the dead smell. I have to say that is a campaign of willful misinformation! There are multiple complaints filed with ADEM so either Mr. Rogers is lying or he isn't paying attention.
