If this report is accurate and the timeframe of January 2017 is true, that puts it after the first and possibly the second Carter Page FISA application was submitted which unfortunately means that they can still CLAIM that they were acting in the interests of national security. That is their defense, after all, “We’re not traitors – we’re just incompetent”.
