This is Lawson B. Burgfeld, telling the story of how B.B.King would occasionally stop in at a truck stop in Fruitland, MO. This was back before I55 was completed, and Highway 61 was the way everyone would go... I am working on preserving old stories, which involve the old blues travelers coming through Missouri...particularly, Southeast Missouri.
