The programming on VH1 is destructive to the black family and black community as a whole. Realities shows like Love and Hip Hop and Flava of Love does not show blacks in a positive light. What is very disappointing is that the participants on these shows are doing it for the money, selling their souls to Viacom. The participants of these shows have very little control over the production of the shows. This is why it is important for blacks to have their networks and production companies.
