@Bluefield State College, The Whitest HBCU in the Country.

Bluefield State College is located in West Virginia. The college started in 1895 under the name of Bluefield Colored Institute. However, over the years the demographics of the the college drastically. The state started transforming the school from a black college to a white commuter college in the late 1960's, under protest by the black students. Black faculty was replaced by white less qualified teachers. This hastened the whitening of the college.
