Why Black Lives Matters is a statement that asked a rhetorical question. The BLM movement has reasons to justify their purpose and the reasons are long and wide. If you would look at the total experience of blacks in the history of this country, you would understand. Black lives didn't matter for many in this country since 1501. Blacks have experienced slavery, Jim Crow, unequal treatment under the color of law, lynchings and host of others discriminatory acts many by the hands of the government.
