When actor Jesse Williams of Grey's Anatomy gave his acceptance speech at the BET Awards made headlines and controversy. Many thought it was an excellent speech, while others thought it was racist. However, I was thinking about where he said it. BET is owned by Viacom with Sumner Redstone, who is white, as CEO and owner. We(blacks) are complaining about the truth of what Jesse said, instead of the reality that blacks owned very little media outlets. This is how I found the 10 things you thought were owned by blacks.
