See how my Tesla Model 3 Navigates on Autopilot on UK roads deals with AutoPilot. It fails on many corners and even clips the kerb on one corner. V10.1 2019.36.2.1 is installed and I use Navigate on AutoPilot and AutoPilot. We re-trace the same route we took with the previous version of the software to see if there are any changes and improvements. The new traffic cone visualisation is great and works very well in this version. AutoPilot works well on fast sweeping bends, but sometimes struggles on slower tighter bends. On one corner at 18mph it turned in too early and clipped the kerb with its nearside rear wheel. Other times it simply drops out of AutoPilot as soon as the lane markings disappear or are inconsistent.
