Interview with CEO of Moz, Sarah Bird - Women Who Go For It Video Series Sarah Bird serves as the President and Chief Operations Officer at Moz. She also sits on the Board of Directors. A student of the world, Sarah attended Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada; Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey; University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, Washington; and East China University School of Law and Politics in Shanghai, China. After practicing law for several years, Sarah threw herself into the startup lifestyle and helped build Moz from the ground up. She sets the company’s strategy and vision with her colleagues on the Board of Directors. Sarah leads the legal, finance, human resources, facilities, and customer service departments at Moz. She frequently speaks on entrepreneurship, culture, search marketing, and internet law. Her super-sharp business acumen is always paired with her TAGFEE core beliefs. Sarah’s greatest life passion is her family: her loving and literary husband, Eric, and their adorable son, Jack. Addicted to culture shock, she loves traveling to the furthest reaches of the globe—but also enjoys a simple stroll down the street in Seattle. Other joys include live music, eating good food with friends, and laughter. She supports many charitable and educational institutions, including Solid Ground, Seattle Girls School, Playground by the Sound, Resilience Rising, and Treehouse For Kids.
