LMTs can receive 5 CEUs for this workshop. Hello wellness professionals. However, all professionals welcome. Want to increase sales and business? Then it’s time to be inclusive! Inclusivity is critical these days in view of rapidly changing demographics. Expand and nurture your business through inclusive strategies. Here’s your opportunity to learn how and why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) matters and will benefit your business. Ignoring this can potentially hurt your business, with reduced sales and even negative publicity. Ask yourself these questions: · Do you know your region’s demographics? · Is your marketing inviting and inclusive and bringing in new clients or driving them away? · Is your client list diverse? · Are you missing opportunities for business? · Do you have effective community outreach? The purpose of DEI training is to increase awareness about how we may unintentionally cause harm or promote harmful ideas through marketing and work with clients. Participants in this workshop will: · Build inclusivity into the core of their business · Create a safe space for clients to relax and cultivate healing · Learn what unintentional language is and how it can sabotage the client-therapist relationship. About This Workshop A recording of the workshop will be available for all who register. The day will be divided into short dialogues, games, and lectures followed by breakout sessions that allow you to engage with fellow participants. Led by two highly regarded Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) educators, this workshop will assist you in identifying opportunities to foster inclusivity that directly results in attracting, engaging and retaining new clients. Our country is rapidly becoming more racially and culturally diverse. By 2045, it is projected that the United States will be made up 51% people of color. Businesses that make DEI a priority can ensure continued success and increased business. Businesses that fail to prioritize DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) will likely suffer from decreased traffic, tarnished brands and in some cases, costly lawsuits. There are countless examples of companies ignoring racism, homophobia, sexism, and unconscious bias in their workplaces and then spending years cleaning up the company image as well as repairing damaged relationships within the community, and clients. Addressing and understanding unconscious bias is imperative to growing and sustaining your business.
