They didn't spend 1 day in prison. This incident sparked activism by Asian Americans demanding justice, but where are we now with a rise in anti-Asian hate across the country and how far have we come? The question is, what are the consequences for murdering an Asian American today? I have seen many murders of Asians in American in the last two years.
