A new Facebook group is being set up right now for all psoriasis sufferers looking to cure their condition forever. Vegans, transitioning meat eaters and all will be welcome. I will let you know when it is up and running. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook/Twitter. Here is the meal plan I mentioned in the video, I hope it helps: 7 day Vegan Diet Plan for Psoriasis 15 June 2015 18:28 Introduction and disclaimer: I am not a medically trained professional or dietician. The advice I offer is based on my own experiences and success using diet and nutrition. Please research for yourself in great detail, so you can be sure you are meeting your nutritional needs and goals. Please consider taking vitamin B12 when living a vegan lifestyle. Vegans and meat eaters a like are susceptible to B12 deficiency but I accept it is harder to obtain on a plant based diet. The following is an example seven days, feel free to switch things around and adapt to your own tastes. Once you have completed the seven days, you should feel confident to create your own meals. You can always use my Instagram account to help you for inspiration, follow me @psoriasisbuddy. Recipes for most of the meals below are included in my Instagram posts too. I hope you find this plan useful, and even more importantly, delicious! On each day, make sure you drink at least two litres of water, but try for 3-4. Add lemon juice to make it more detoxing. Green juicing is also fantastic and very important. Check my Instagram for juice recipes and try for at least once a day, but as many as you can manage. Don't let yourself get hungry, snack whenever you want, be it fruit, an avocado or whatever. Use a calorie counter app so you know what you are consuming, a plant based diet might fool you in to eating too little. Supplements I recommend during healing: • Vitamin D3 • Vitamin K2 • Magnesium (may not need if getting enough dietary). • Zinc (as above for magnesium). • Selenium (as above). • Vitamin B12 • Kefir (made using non dairy milk). • Acidophilus probiotic. • Oil of oregano. • Caprylic acid. • Milk thistle.
