Jonathon Torone's video: Paper or Plastic

My third and final project for DXARTS 452. The premise was to create a short film based on 2 aspects from critique that I needed to improve on. One aspect was developing my instincts as a filmmaker to eliminate certain footage that was either redundant or unnecessary. With this in mind, my work suddenly dropped from 5 minutes to 3 minutes. Length not being the debilitating issue, my work became more concise and focused. There were still some aspects that could have been cut. The other aspect was to get out of my comfort zone in filming and to create something that I dislike. I am not comfortable with creating stop motion animation or anything that is this abstract. In doing so, I was able to get away from "babysitting" my audience and let them think about what they are seeing. I also experimented with masking coloration with the apple and its movements across the screen. Let me know what you guys think!
