I got inspired to write this song due to the message that it spreads about the violence that happens in my city of Chicago and all over the world due to gangs, drugs and violence. Violence has affected the lives of so many kids that live in my neighborhood and I want to use my music platform to make a difference in this world. 1st Verse: Julian talks about how the violence & crime in his neighborhood has affected him a lot to the point were he wants change and he's tired of gangs, drugs and violence and the corruption in the world. 2nd Verse: His grandfather was sick and he was treated unfairly by one of his son's that in the end ultimately took advantage of him. His grandfather knew that he wasn't in good hands but didn't have anywhere else to go for help, weeks later from all his pain & suffering he passed away and Julian was not able to see his grandfather one last time to say good bye to him. His uncle took advantage of his grandfather and robbed him from his money & belongings, "MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL" 3rd Verse: Julian expresses how the gangs, drugs and violence in his City of Chicago have ruined and destroyed the lives of a lot of innocent people and he wants change in his city.
