"Le Voyage dans la Lune" (Trip to the Moon) is a French film released in 1902 assuming a revolution for the time. Its author, Georges Méliès, was the first great creator of the cinema, the pioneer in providing the first films of a real argument. Artist, magician, illusionist, juggler, the versatile Méliès, saw the new invention of the cinema a way to increase the promotion of their numbers. The ship lands in the eye of the Moon (picture now famous) and scientists begin to explore the lunar environment.
