We had a surprise guest Becca Biderman join us today to dicuss why we search for barley to begin the year. Before she arrived we asked the brethren to prove to us why we search for the moon and what are the scriptures for doing so. It was not as easy as they thought. Later on we discussed the Joshua 5:10 situation with Passover being at the end of the Sabbath, does this cause Wave Sheaf to be on the next day or the day after the 7th Day of Unleavened Bread the next week and outside the days of Unleavened Bread.
