I brought 1 hiking pants made in Cambodia, but bought in Korea, you know the famous pants Koreans, always wear when they go hiking? 1 pair of tight under garment used as long johns (for day 2) was 9 C/ 48 F started at 4am 1 pair of tight under garment long sleeve shirt (for day 2) 2 pairs of long sleeve button up shirts 2 pairs of socks 1 pair of polyester dress socks bought at Walmart (for day 1) 1 pair of Columbia acrylic/polyester/spandex socks (for day 2) bought at Ross $6 1 windproof jacket bought at Ross about $10-15 (for day 2) I wore 3 layers on top 2 on the bottom. 1 40L hiking backpack bought at Homeplus in Korea. About $40 (it doesn't have a breathable back) 1 DJI Mavic Pro 1 hat quick dry 1 pair of sunglasses 1 cycling tail light used for day 2 strapped to my chest strap on backpack. For night hiking 1 Intova scuba diving torch light. (My wife used it) 12YO still going strong. (I didn't bring, but I recommend an ass pad. Buy a 10mm yoga mat and cut it 1x1 / 30x30cm) You can get a Yoga mat for about $10 at Ross. (I didn't bring, but I recommend a sleeping bag liner 7x3 /213x90cm) My wife told me that these temples don't wash their bed sheets daily. They do have a 2 person liner that attaches to the bed. I bought a single person liner on Taobao. Chinese version of eBay. Food: Day 1 Breakfast: 1L of juice Snack: plain steam buns and Oreos. Lunch: 1L of juice with raisins. Snack: more raisins, Oreos. Dinner: a ton of rice with vegetables. My mistake I didn't bring enough calories with me, but I recommend high carb. aim for about 400/cals per hour. (I didn't bring, but I recommend a 2L CamelBak.) Day 2 Breakfast: juice Snack: Oreos and raisins. It was a 3k descend, then I took the bus. When you get on the bus take an aisle seat, or sit in the front. ALWAYS look out through the windshield looking at the horizon, or else you'll feel nausea. Bring a double black plastic bag just in case. My wife felt nausea for not looking out the windshield after I told her several times. Enjoy your hike! WARNING: DO NOT FEED THE MONKEYS! or eat in-front of them.
