Joshua Naterman's video: The Bodyweight Biceps Curl

@The Bodyweight Biceps Curl
The Bodyweight Biceps Curl. The single hardest biceps exercise besides the reverse muscle up AKA The Elevator! The biceps brachii, which many people think they are working with standing curls, only does a significant amount of work in the top 1/3 of elbow flexion. This happens to be the least challenging portion of the standing or seated curl variations whether you are using barbells, dumbbells, or cables. This exercise reverses that curve. It is easiest at the beginning and hardest at the point of greatest flexion. This is where your biceps are actually working the hardest, and this is where you need to focus if you are trying to make them grow. Bodyweight Biceps Curls are an excellent arm developer for bodyweight enthusiasts and are a perfect complement to chin ups and pull ups for total arm strength throughout the range of motion. This exercise is also an essential addition to any serious lifter's routine because this position is the only one in which you can specifically make the biceps work at their maximum capacity. All other positions will be working the brachialis and other elbow flexors but not the biceps themselves. There seems to be some confusion as to how this exercise is performed. I hope this video clears this up!
