Open The floodgates Till there’s nothing to defend Just to prime for A notion of growing Shame's eroding We’re not quite knowing Just where we’re going So Man. The fuck. Up! Because it’s time to Decrease World Suck By breeding the notion that we must remain stolid We are weeding the flow of compassion and stalling Our proclivity for human connection and care And propensity for fluid directions to share We don’t have time to invest in cool So caught up in ego, image is the rule Followed by fools Judging that others Are judging the utter Shit out of us We’re smothered In shudders About being real Can you feel This can kill us And to heal we must Reveal That the steel We still wield’s A whacked ideal That conceals Our greatest appeal Give up being the big, rad, tough guy And fuck fame, riches and dry-eyes I profess We’re more complex Than the sex We've been pressed To wrestle with I’ll shred and burn Antediluvian stereotypes That men always have to be in control of their life In every single moment, be smart and confident And leave a legacy eternally relevant There’s nothing weak about taking risks And feelin’ the feverish intensity of being alive We greatly brave the pit Taking hits in the arena with a passion and drive Let ‘em laugh and piss on your pride ‘Cause you have absolutely nothing to hide And you’ll find your prime Before you die And live a life Cherishing every single waking moment in time Thanks for watching.
