'The Cathedrals Express' charter trip traveled from London to Carlisle via the west Coast Main Line, electric hauled by E3137 'Les Ross', and was then steam hauled for part of the return journey, along the Cumbrian Coast from Carlisle to Carnforth by LMS Jubilee Class 6MT 4-6-0 no 45699 'Galatea'. The train is seen passing slowly through St Bees Station, then crossing Eskmeals Viaduct, just south of Ravenglass.
