Julian Thurgood's video: Trains at the National Railway Museum York 30 November 2019

@Trains at the National Railway Museum, York, 30 November 2019
Seen here is LMS 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' preparing for her trip from York to London with the 'York Yuletide Express'. The trip should have been brought north by 60009 'Union of South Africa', which had problems so couldn't make it. Also seen are trains passing the Museum viewing gallery - LNER class 91 Intercity 225 and class 43 HST Intercity 125, soon to be withdrawn from service, and a pair of Grand Central class 180s. Inside the Museum workshops, work continues of restoring 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley', who has just had her refurbished boiler delivered and fitted. Inter-City 125 liveried power car 43002 which carries the name ‘Sir Kenneth Grange’ (designer of the HST) is seen on the Museum turntable having recently arrived at the Museum. Then finally a general shot showing 'Mallard' and 'Duchess of Hamilton', which is the same class of 'Duchess of Sutherland' but with streamlining.
