On Sunday 18th August 2019 the charter train 'The Waverley' came from York to Carlisle and back via the settle line. It was hauled by the recently restored LMS Jubilee class no 45596 'Bahamas'. The train is seen here going north through Settle, and on the return at Langwathby. It was a long climb to this location at Settle, and that started off sunny but as is typical ended up rainy and very windy - hence my rather wobbly tripod work!
