This trip relives the famous 'Fifteen Guinea Special' run in August 1968 from Manchester to Carlisle north via Settle and south via Shap. Today's tour was double head by LMS Stanier black fives 45212 and 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' running as 45157. Seen here passing Garsdale Station and Dandry Mire viaduct, then the water stop at Appleby Station.
