No, this video isn't perfect...but I said what I wanted to say. I'm tired of hearing, "Well, ALL lives matter" as an overly simplified and completely disrespectful response to the trend of support. Black or white, young or old, please don't let people try and silence your voice when you are speaking out for good. Continue to have the uncomfortable conversations. You can do it with grace and peace. Plant a seed. Don't stress out when people don't understand right away. Plant another seed. Water it. Keep it up. For clarification, I am not making comments on a specific event. The discussion I'm referring to is about combating racism and inequality. Inequality in any form - racism, sexism, and homophobia - is not OK. I disabled the comments because I know they will just get ugly and will digress from anything productive. God bless.
