Ranked as one of the best beaches in the world, Elafonissi Beach is a hidden gem that every beach lover should visit! Crete offers 3 of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and we think Elafonissi is number one! It is a long drive from Chania ( 90min.) and the road is rough but once you get there it is all forgotten! There is a free parking for everyone and the beach is very well organized! Cocktail bars, coffee shops and snacks are available all day long! The pink sandy beach and the crystal clear waters are simply amazing and the lagoon is so big tat you can find a spot just for yourself if you don't like the crowd! At the end of the day take a place on the dunes and enjoy the beautiful sunset! The ride back to Chania is little tiresome but the town is so alive and colorful that as soon as you get a shower and go out on the streets will will find a new energy for more fun and enjoyment!
