Just Ned's video: Meeru Island Resort Spa The Maldives North Atoll

"The Maldives are overrated!" , you can hear this surprisingly often and maybe it is true for some islands but not Meeru Island Resort & Spa!!! Meeru on North Atol is amazing! if I say that it was everything we have ever dreamed about it will be understatement! White sands, blue water, palm trees and vegetation everywhere, excellent food, friendly and quick service, and so on, and so on...out of this world! There is a trick to it though! You can have a very nice stay and you can have an amazing stay! The island is divided on two! It depends where're you staying and where're you eating. If you have booked a beach villa and they try to put you in one of 201-205 , just say NO FW!!! :) those 5 are also on the beach but far away from the ocean and in the middle of nowhere! The good thing is the staff knows that and they will accommodate you "no questions asked"! Then it is really huge difference if you eat at Maalan Restaurant (situated right on the beach overlooking the sunset) or the main restaurant! the food and the service are the same, but the view at Maalan is magnificent! Sport activities, water activities and everything else to fulfill your days is available! Don't expect a wild night life and fancy parties...Maldives are to chill and enjoy the sun and the ocean!
