One day eight year old Brian decides that he needs a break from his life. After all, it is hard being a kid. He is exhausted from school, soccer practice, violin classes, voice lessons, babysitting his sister, walking his dog and the worst of all, having to eat his vegetables. Yuck! Brian tells his family that he is retiring. They think he is kidding and throw him a retirement party. He then jumps on a plane and flies to Florida to the Happy Sunset Retirement Community. Now that he’s retired, he gets to play cards, go swimming, take naps on a pool float and just relax. It’s fun for a few days, but then he starts to miss his old life, the good old days.
