A 5 day, 64km Solo survival test exploring remote wilderness. This is a 2 part survival camping series. Episode 2 will air next week. I travel by hiking and packrafting in a raw and rarely seen part of Newfoundland's breathtaking outdoors - the remote 1,070km2 Avalon Wilderness Reserve. I carry limited food and equipment with the goal to test my wilderness skills and explore as much new ground as possible over the 5 days. I must fish, forage, be resourceful and use strength, and endurance to succeed. There's beauty, simple living, hardship and great joys.
