Justin Chae's video: I Spent My First Week Of College With 8 Strangers In The Woods

Following the recent murder of George Floyd alongside the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless others at the hands of racism and police brutality, it's time that I use the platforms that I have to help create change. Living as an Asian American male in the United States, I hold privileges that many of my friends and peers do not. I have benefited far too long from the sacrifices and hardships that the Black community has had to endure in this country in past centuries and the least I can do is to recognize and show my allyship to the Black community. At this time, I ask you to not only educate yourself but also work to help those in need right now. In addition to spreading the word to your friends, families, neighbors, coworkers, please donate (within your financial means) and sign petitions. This is truly a crazy time in the United States and we are literally living through history. To put this into perspective, when your children or grandchildren in the future ask you what you were doing during this historical event, you'll want to tell them that you were on the right side of history.
