I had to go nowhere to write Somewhere. It was Thanksgiving, 2018. My apartment was uninhabitable and I desperately needed a break. For some reason, Las Vegas had my name in the spotlights and as I followed the full moon out, this song wrote itself. I pulled the guitar out at Bally's, wrote down the chords and spent the rest of the night wandering around until I settled on a South Park marathon back at the room. It was life-changing.
